Sins of Night is an adult role playing sandbox with visual novel style event content. To feature quests, multi-route characters, ~choicing and consequencing~, main character building (attributes, skills and abilities) and a structured yet open world.
You’ll use all these tools to form relationships with the various female love interests. It’ll be up to you to decide if you want to form romantic bonds, or corrupt them into a perverse new lifestyle!
Many features are currently still in their early stages, but I’ll be fleshing things out over time. I hope you’ll come along for the ride.

– MC Content –

  – New quick event involving repairing the household pool. This will unlock an additional event in the new Evelyn stage, and enable pool content in future releases. Requires prestige level 2.

– Evelyn Content –

  – New Vice & Virtue levels, complete with new story and sandbox events exclusive to each path. Moves the character along quite a bit.

  – New sandbox mechanics, mostly consisting of a lust stat, that affects the new sandbox events, giving them different outcomes and rewards. (Other factors like dream influence and misc sandbox actions also play roles in some events).

– Misc –

  – Fixed a major bug with Hazel’s event chain, causing her to default to the vice route in the final event if you feed on her. I added a script that should switch her back to the virtue path, if you chose more virtue options. Those who didn’t will be stuck on the vice path. Massive apologies to anyone affected by this.

Apologies for the long wait, this one turned out to more work than I originally thought. There’s also a lack of sexual content, focusing more on story. I’ll be making up for this in a big way in the following releases though!

– Main Story –

  – Three new main story events, finally moving it forward and establishing some new things.

  – A couple new combat encounters available in the events.

– Kate Content –

  – Kate’s apartment is now unlocked by completing the new story events, making her an accessible character.

  – A small selection of events at her apartment, including the start of a story that will progress alongside the main story.

  – Progression works a bit differently compared to the other girls, as she’s tied heavily into the main story.

– Weapon Shop –

  – New weapon shop, unlocked once you complete the combat training story event (auto for returning plays who already finished it).

  – Allows you to buy new weapons with their own unique abilities, more to come with future skill level ups.

  – Can be found on the world map screen.

– UI-

  – New Equipment screen that allows you to switch your loadout for missions etc.

  – New Inventory screen to display your items – currently doesn’t have much functionality.

    • Hazel’s first content stage added. Becomes available once you’ve completed the combat training main story event

– Evelyn Content –

    • Bar sharing system part 2. Two new routes/themes (one virtue, one vice).

– Unarmed Skill Content –

    • Training to reach level 1 unarmed skill now available for those who picked it as their first skill cap increase

    • New Unarmed skill trainer character, with a series of small events to go through the training process

    • New Unarmed ability

    • More skill trainers coming in follow-up releases

– Misc –

    • MC Bio screen reworked – now displays attribute and skill levels

    • MC Max level increased to 3, rewarding another attribute point (doesn’t do much yet but levelling one attribute is likely to be helpful in coming updates)

Sorry the release is so small content wise, especially after the long wait. The combat system ended up being more complicated to make than I originally thought. Follow up releases will be focusing on character content!

– MC Story Content –

• New main story event, introducing the combat system and its tutorial

• Unlocked by reaching prestige level 2 (prestige cap has been increased)

– Combat System –

• New turn-based combat system (Skippable for those who aren’t interested)

• Weapons, stats, abilities and other RPG goodness

• Only available in the new story event for now, but new combat encounters will come in the future

• Also comes with the first character level up and combat skill choice! (Combat skills system will be expanded in later releases)

– Evelyn Content –

• New Sharing content added

• Part 1 (2 routes) of the sharing content for her first vice/virtue levels. Another two routes coming next release!

• Sharing system is similar to Harley’s, but located at Evelyn’s bar job

• Unlocked by helping Evelyn at work, via the vice or virtue path

    • Dream influence has been tied into sharing, just as with Harley

Returning Players: I recommend you pass a day on the main sandbox screen before trying to access any new content!

Bit of a smaller release this time around, owing to the quicker turn around and some work on an unreleased combat system.

  The local vampire ruler and Submission club owner turns her sights on the MC.

  – New Content Stage, in a linear format. Consisting of:

  – A series of events, with route choices

  – A final end scene based on your route

  – New Dom/Sub stats, exclusive to Valeria for now

  – Some extra cash gains during these events (money sink coming soon)

  – Unlocks automatically once you’ve worked at submission enough

  – New optional sharing content, as an addon to her existing content stage

  – Accessed by visiting the Submission club when Harley is there (Either use her sandbox link or manually via the map)

  – This particular content can be enabled/disabled by talking to Sadie at the club (main sharing option still applies as a blanket disable for all sharing content)

  – Several routes/options to explore, each with multiple outcomes and possible npcs

  – Outcomes are determined by a hidden scoring system, based on Harley’s preferences, dream influence, and experience with the selected option

  – Dream Influence can unlock one of the options, and also unlock new types of guys to appear in the events

– Misc Bugs –

  Fixed/Improved character name and relationship consistency –  Phone and gallery names should update at the end of every week now. You can manually force an update with the confirmation marks in the character settings window (next to the name/rel entry fields)

Apologies for the long wait, juggling two games at once is turning out to be quite challenging! Still early days for Harley but I’ve tried to make this as lewd as possible regardless.

Since this is the first update, I recommend you keep a backup of your old save from Release 1 as a precaution.

Returning players are recommended to check out the new character settings screens to add missing information!

In my attempt to make a sandbox as streamlined as possible, there’s a fair bit of complicated code behind the scenes. There may be bugs in the early versions, so please report any strange behaviour. Ideally giving as much info as you can! (Attaching a save file is also super helpful!)

This game will contain toggleable sharing content, in much the same way my last game (Love & Vice) did. All sharing content will only happen if you choose so (choices are marked), and you can toggle the choices to be hidden entirely.

Consent is important, so I have no interest in forcing this on you if you don’t want it!

If you’ve played my other game Love & Vice, then you’ll a good idea of what to expect in the future. The only major difference I’d highlight is the inclusion of some femdom content. Given the setting, I thought it would be appropriate! Though I’ll continue to offer you as much say as possible when it comes to what content you view.

The dreaded sandbox renpy game… I’ve done my best to streamline the experience, with the intent of giving you a non linear game, and as much freedom as I reasonably can. If you’ve been burned before, I’d suggest you might find this one a bit easier to play.

The wider game world is currently very barren, due to time constraints. But I’ll be adding a bunch of new things over the coming updates. I ultimately want you to have plenty to do and explore!
